We offer flexible options for groups of any size: the front section of the restaurant (30 guests), the back section (40 guests), the entire restaurant (70 guests), or the Orangery (50 guests). With an exclusive booking (restaurant + Orangery), we can accommodate up to 120 guests.

Yes, a non-religious wedding ceremony can certainly take place in our bright orangery or outdoors. Please note, however, that the Köhlerei does not have an officially registered wedding venue. This means that the legally binding civil wedding ceremony must be held off-site beforehand. It is your sole responsibility to arrange for a wedding officiant. We provide you with the beautiful setting; you organize the content and book external officiants entirely according to your personal preferences.

If all rooms are occupied by your group, the quiet hours after 10:00 p.m. do not apply.

To ensure your event is not affected by the weather and to give you peace of mind when planning, we generally reserve our indoor spaces for your celebration. However, if you book the entire venue exclusively, we would be happy to host your celebration on our terrace.

Yes, we’d be happy to schedule a tasting so you can try the menu options for your event in advance at your leisure.

As a special wedding treat, we’ll bake you a classic Black Forest cake in the shape of a heart—a true highlight of our region. If you’d prefer to bring your own cake, that’s certainly possible. In that case, we’ll charge a plate fee to cover the service, as well as the use of refrigeration and tableware.

Special occasions call for unforgettable culinary experiences. Whether it’s a flying buffet, a sit-down meal, or a traditional buffet—our kitchen team uses seasonal and regional ingredients to create the perfect menu for every taste.

No, we charge for all beverages fairly based on actual consumption. This way, you have full transparency regarding the amounts consumed.

We have a “The Frame” screen available for presentations or photo slideshows. Background music can be played through our small sound system (only when the venue is booked exclusively).

We do not offer set decoration packages. This gives you the freedom to decorate the rooms however you like. Since our walls are made of wood, fasteners that damage the wood (such as nails or tape) are not permitted.

If you book the venue exclusively, a DJ is more than welcome. If you need some contacts for this, we’d be happy to help with recommendations.

Our dining area is wheelchair accessible and therefore ideal for guests with mobility impairments or those with strollers.

Your four-legged friend is also a welcome guest here! We charge €17.00 per dog per night. Please note that a maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per room and that our dog policy applies throughout the entire property.

For weekend bookings, a standard minimum stay of 2 nights applies. In addition, we reserve the right to set a minimum spending requirement for your event, depending on the season.
