Our sauna: Step inside and leave your daily worries behind. Our classic wood-heated sauna offers the perfect opportunity to relax, boost your immune system, and loosen up your muscles after exercise. The high-quality woodwork creates a particularly pleasant atmosphere.
Time to unwind: After your sauna session, our comfortable, ergonomically designed loungers invite you to linger. Snuggle into a soft towel, which we have freshly prepared for you, and enjoy the silence. A speaker provides subtle background music upon request to deepen your relaxation.
Exclusive equipment from NOHRD is available for your workouts. These machines impress not only with their functionality but also with their award-winning design made of real wood, which blends perfectly into the natural ambiance of our space.
Endurance & Cardio: Walk or run on the innovative NOHRD treadmill or work up a sweat on the NOHRD bike. What makes them special: These machines operate without a motor, allowing you to set your own pace naturally.
Strength & Coordination: For an effective full-body workout, use our NOHRD cable machine or the unique NOHRD WaterGrinder. Train strength, endurance, and coordination with the natural resistance of water or weights, all encased in beautifully crafted wood.
Our wellness and fitness area is open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We are happy to turn on the sauna starting at 12:00 PM upon request.
For our hotel guests, use of this area is included in the room rate.

The lake is open to the public and offers a pristine natural setting for all visitors. We do not have a separate, restricted area.
The Köhlerei doesn’t have its own pool. But the lake is right on our doorstep! You can swim here all year round—from refreshing ice-swimming in winter to cooling off in the height of summer.
